Check out what’s on offer with our free range of educational resources to develop economic awareness amongst 14-18 year olds.
Paying for It, which have has been supported by Aviva since 2007, is being revamped to develop a new programme of effective and informative resources for your students. They will bring to life the issues surrounding the UK economy and Government policy in the run up to the General Election in May 2015.
The Paying for It website will continue to host our free lesson plans which have been updated for the 2013-14 academic year. These provide real life examples of how the wider economy impacts on the lives of your students. You can still access the Chance to be Chancellor resources, but the content has not be updated and we do not intend to run the competition in the 2013-14 academic year. Chance to be Chancellor will be back in 2014-2015 in time for the General Election.
The Paying for It teacher training resource is a part of the wider citizenship training offer from the Citizenship Foundation. We support teachers prepare for the National Curriculum and meet the requirement to deliver a financial literacy element. Visit our dedicated page which gives more information on the free support on offer.
