Created by experienced educational specialists, mapped on to the curricula and Pfeg Quality Marked; our lesson plans are innovative, flexible and are regularly updated with news and additional activities.
Paying for It’s range of free lesson plans are created by experienced educational specialists at Key Stage 3 and 4 and provide innovative activities to critically investigate the economic challenges facing society.
Each lesson plan is accompanied by its own dedicated online page which provides regularly updated news on that topic. Lesson plans can be used to work towards getting your students involved in Chance to be Chancellor, or as standalone individual topics to enrich your scheme of work.
In a recent survey, 96% of teachers rated the lesson plans as effective or very effective in raising students’ economic awareness. 92% of those teachers will use the lesson plans again in the next academic year.
You can adapt and use the lesson plans however you wish: 40% of teachers said they used them as standalone classes, 51% as a contribution to a lesson and 38% as a part of a body of work focusing on economic awareness.
