The Chancellor announces the Government’s plans on how it will raise and spend the money it needs to run the country through the Budget.
The Government’s produces a yearly statement which is called the Budget – the Chancellor traditionally announces the Budget in mid-March. The Budget allocates hotly contested taxation and spending decisions in regards to who and what is taxed, and where spending should be focused. What will you do with your Chance to be Chancellor?
